Fulham defender Matthew Briggs has revealed that he is eager to impress manager Martin Jol during the club's pre-season tour of Costa Rica.
The 22-year-old, who graduated from the Cottagers' youth academy in 2006, spent the last campaign on loan at Watford.
Briggs is now keen to stamp his mark on the first team ahead of next month's Premier League opener at Sunderland.
"I can't wait to get back into playing football, which is obviously what I love to do," he told the club's official website. "Every game is an opportunity to showcase what you can do and I'll be looking to impress the manager in all three games."
Briggs has previously been loaned out to Leyton Orient, Peterborough United and Bristol City.
