Burnley have had a bid accepted by Everton for Aaron Lennon and will now discuss personal terms with the winger, according to a report.
The 30-year-old's future has been called into question this week, despite being used in all nine Premier League games since Sam Allardyce took charge at Goodison Park.
Allardyce suggested at his weekly press conference on Friday morning that chairman Bill Kenwright and director of football Steve Walsh would consider any bids for Lennon.
Sky Sports News suggests that an offer has been forthcoming, with Burnley successful in their approach and given permission to open negotiations with the Englishman.
Lennon, also linked with Newcastle United in recent days, has seven goals in 63 appearances for Everton since joining from Tottenham Hotspur in 2015
