Everton are reportedly willing to allow Theo Walcott to leave Goodison Park on a permanent basis this summer, after spending this season on loan at Southampton.

Everton are reportedly set to allow winger Theo Walcott to leave Goodison Park permanently this summer, as the club have identified the wide position as a priority in the transfer window.

The 32-year-old returned to Southampton on loan this season after initially graduating through the Saints' academy as a youth player, before he spent 13 years at Arsenal.

Walcott has only managed two goals and three assists in 23 appearances for Ralph Hasenhuttl's side this season, however the South Coast club have expressed their desire for Walcott to extend his stay.

According to Football Insider, the Toffees will tell the former England international he is free to leave at the end of this season after spending three-and-a-half years on Merseyside.

The same report suggests that Carlo Ancelotti will be searching for a new winger to join the club and that that position is a top priority in this summer's transfer window.

Walcott arrived at Goodison Park in 2017 and has scored 11 goals, providing nine assists in 85 appearances for the club.
