Everton are tracking Denmark Under-21s striker Marcus Ingvartsen with one eye on a January move, according to a report.
The Blues are said to have sent scouts to watch the youngster as his club side Nordsjaelland battled to a 1-1 draw with Brondby on Sunday afternoon.
Danish newspaper Ekstrabladet claims that sporting director Steve Walsh gave the green light for club officials to run the rule over Ingvartsen, though AC Milan, Juventus, PSV Eindhoven, Nice, Werder Bremen and Club Brugge also had scouts present.
Ingvartsen, whose style of play has earned him comparisons to Milan legend Filippo Inzaghi, has hit five goals in 13 games for Nordsjaelland this season and has six in three outings for Denmark's U21s.
