Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has claimed that the squad is as confident as it has ever been following Roberto Martinez's arrival at the club.
The Toffees have enjoyed a strong start to the season as just one defeat from 15 games has seen them move up to fifth place in the Premier League table.
Despite admitting that there is a long way to go in the current campaign, Howard is pleased that there is plenty of optimism at Goodison Park.
"I think it's the most confident we've been," he told the Liverpool Echo. "We know when we cross the line that we have a formula to win games.
"We don't want to get carried away because we're not even half way through the season but we're coming into the game and we know how to pick teams apart.
"We've only lost one game and we have a way of playing where we can dictate the game and if that carries on like this we can be successful."
Everton continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they play host to Fulham.
