Everton manager Roberto Martinez expresses his delight at having four centre-forwards available for selection this season.

Roberto Martinez has said that he is happy with the striking options that are available to him at Everton.

The Spaniard took Arouna Kone with him to Goodison Park from Wigan Athletic earlier this summer, while Nikica Jelavic, Apostolos Vellios and Victor Anichebe were already at the club.

"As a squad of players you always look to have as many dimensions as you can," the manager told the club's official website.

"We had Victor Anichebe playing against Juventus and he did a fantastic job. Arouna Kone played well against Blackburn and Nikica Jelavic exactly the same.

"Tolis Vellios did really well in Austria as well, so all of a sudden you have got every player showing what they can do and what they can bring to the team and that's a very healthy position to have."

The Toffees open their Premier League campaign in a fortnight against Norwich City away from home.
