Everton's Romelu Lukaku fit to face Manchester City

Romelu Lukaku shakes off an ankle problem to be included in the Everton squad for tomorrow night's clash away at Manchester City.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed that leading goalscorer Romelu Lukaku is available for tomorrow's trip to Manchester City.

The 19-goal Belgian has been struggling of late with an ankle complaint.

However, Martinez revealed that Lukaku has proven his fitness in training ahead of the visit to the Etihad Stadium.

"Romelu trained well yesterday. He is available, his ankle feels well and he is clear to play tomorrow. It's great news," the Spanish boss told reporters.

Lukaku got his name on the scoresheet as the Toffees beat City 2-1 in the League Cup last week.
