Dele Alli and John Stones train on Saturday as England continue their preparations for Tuesday's World Cup last-16 game with Colombia.

Dele Alli and John Stones have taken part in England training on Saturday ahead of Tuesday's World Cup last-16 game with Colombia.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alli came off with a thigh injury after 80 minutes of the 2-1 win over Tunisia on June 18 and was not utilised by Gareth Southgate in the subsequent Group G games.

Stones, meanwhile, came off at the halfway point of England's 1-0 loss to Belgium in Kaliningrad, sparking fears that the Manchester City defender had suffered a calf injury.

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Man City's Fabian Delph were the only absentees from training.

The former took part in a personal conditioning session at the team hotel, and the latter remains in England for the birth of his third child.

England face Colombia at Moscow's Otkrytiye Arena, with the winner awarded a quarter-final tie against one of Sweden or Switzerland.
