James Milner feels that England will make further improvements as they continue to work under Roy Hodgson.

James Milner has insisted that the current England squad are "in a really good place".

Since Roy Hodgson took charge of the Three Lions in May 2012, England have lost just one of their 13 matches.

Speaking to reporters ahead of Friday's encounter against San Marino, Milner has claimed that both performances and results will improve even further the more that the players work with Hodgson.

"The squad is in a really good place, the longer we work with the manager the more you will see improvements in the team," said the Manchester City midfielder.

Milner has made 33 appearances for England, scoring one goal.
