Steven Gerrard has been named as the England Player of the Year for 2012.
The Liverpool midfielder received the accolade, voted for by fans, during a ceremony at St George's Park on Sunday night.
"I think it's always special when you get recognised by supporters who see you in your job and then you've got to look at the other players that you're playing with in this England team, so it's special to get this award," said the 32-year-old.
Gerrard also revealed that he and his England teammates would be donating £25,000 to the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK.
