Eintracht Frankfurt have eased past Eintracht Braunschweig with a comfortable 3-0 victory in the Bundesliga this afternoon.
Frankfurt took the lead after only seven minutes when Johannes Flum latched onto a cross from Sebastian Jung to convert into the net with his left foot.
Karim Bellarabi came close to equalising for Braunschweig when he was picked out by Norman Theuerkauf, but he could only fire his effort wide of goal.
The hosts increased their lead in the 43rd minute when goalscorer Flum turned provider to pick out Alexander Meier, who grabbed his side's second with a right-footed shot from the centre of the box.
Things got even better for Frankfurt a minute later when they grabbed their third and final of the game through Stefan Aigner, who rifled home following a defence-splitting assist from Jung to put the game to bed within the first half.
