Managerless Derby County have signed Leicester City defender Zak Whitbread on an emergency three-month loan deal.
The 29-year-old should start in tomorrow's home match against Ipswich Town, acting as cover for suspended skipper Richard Keogh.
Whitbread joins just two days after Nigel Clough was sacked as manager, with Darren Wassall taking temporary charge of the match against Mick McCarthy's Tractor Boys.
