Steve McLaren has witnessed his new side Derby County concede four in the first half at home to Ipswich Town.
The former England manager, who is not taking charge of first-team affairs until after tonight's game at Pride Park, saw his new side fall behind inside seven minutes when Christophe Berra headed home Aaron Cresswell's cross.
Cresswell tormented Derby two minutes later crossing again, this time for Daryl Murphy to head home to double the Tractor Boys' lead.
However, they were momentarily pegged back by a goal from Zak Whitbread, who was making his debut for the Rams after joining on loan from Leicester.
Unfortunately for Whitbread, the horror show continued as Cresswell himself got on the scoresheet on 14 minutes to bag Ipswich's third goal.
Cresswell's dream first half continued as he turned provider for Ryan Tunicliffe on 34 minutes and seemed to put the visitors beyond the reach of Derby before half time.
Should Ipswich hold on to the lead, it will give them their fifth league win of the season.
