Derby County have announced the signing of defender Raul Albentosa from La Liga side Eibar.
The 26-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Rams after manager Steve McClaren was impressed by the defender's performances in Spain.
"We're really pleased to welcome Raul Albentosa to Derby County, especially given the level of interest in him," McClaren told the club's official website.
"He has been in fine form this season in La Liga and we have been impressed with what we have seen of him as a management staff and scouting team, and believe he can make the transition to English football."
Albentosa made 17 appearances in Spain's top flight this season and scored two goals.
