Crystal Palace are allegedly plotting a swoop for highly-rated Peterborough United striker Jack Marriott.
The Eagles have been keeping tabs on League One's top goalscorer for the last two months and may lodge a £7m bid before the transfer window closes, according to The Sun.
Marriott is said to have attracted interest from a number of Championship and Premier League clubs this season, having racked up an impressive 24 goals for Posh since they signed him from Luton Town last summer.
West Ham United have reportedly sent scouts to watch the prolific hitman, while second-tier outfits Aston Villa, Leeds United, Queens Park Rangers and Millwall have also been credited with interest.
Meanwhile, Palace are allegedly close to completing the signing of Polish defender Jaroslaw Jach from Zaglebie Lubin.
