Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Alex McCarthy from Queens Park Rangers on a four-year deal.
The 25-year-old has joined the Eagles for an undisclosed fee that is thought to be around £3.5m.
Former England Under-21 international McCarthy joined QPR from Reading in 2014. He has previously spent time on loan with clubs such as Leeds United, Ipswich Town and Brentford.
"I'm over the moon," McCarthy told Palace's official website. "When I first heard about Palace's interest I was excited because I really wanted to be back in the Premier League. Towards the end of last season I started hearing little inklings about a move and then gradually over the Summer things progressed and now, here I am."
McCarthy made four appearances for QPR last season, with three of those coming in the Premier League.
