Crystal Palace decide not to appeal Kagisho Dikgacoi's red card?

Crystal Palace reportedly decide against lodging an appeal against the red card Kagisho Dikgacoi picked up against Manchester United.

Crystal Palace have reportedly decided against submitting an appeal against the red card issued to Kagisho Dikgacoi during their clash against Manchester United.

The 28-year-old was given a straight red for a challenge on Ashley Young, and as a result gave away a penalty that led to the English champions' 2-0 victory at Old Trafford.

According to the Croydon Guardian, the club have decided not to try to get the suspension rescinded, despite rumours that manager Ian Holloway was keen to lodge an appeal.

Co-chairman Stephen Browett is said to have written on internet fan forum BBS that the "football people" within the club came to the decision, not the owners.
