Keith Millen unsure if he has a future at Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace's caretaker boss Keith Millen says that he has no idea whether he will remain at the club once a new manager takes over.

Crystal Palace's caretaker manager Keith Millen has admitted that he is in the dark over whether he will remain at the club once a new boss takes charge.

The 47-year-old took the reins at Selhurst Park for Saturday's 2-0 defeat to 10-men Arsenal following the departure of Ian Holloway last week.

"No I haven't [been given any guarantees]," The Independent quotes Millen as saying. "I have not really had that discussion with the chairman.

"I was proud to be asked to take over the team against Arsenal and enjoyed it, so I think it will be a case of the chairman decides on who he wants top bring in and the next question will be 'do I fit into that?'

"I have been here before. I am experienced now. I know how football works. If I am asked, I would love to stay and work at this football club."

Former Stoke City boss Tony Pulis became the early favourite to take the permanent position following Holloway's exit.
