Keith Millen: 'Crystal Palace will use inside knowledge against Newcastle United'

Crystal Palace assistant boss Keith Millen reveals that his team will be using their inside knowledge on Newcastle United for their Premier League clash at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace assistant manager Keith Millen has said that the club will be using all of their inside knowledge of Newcastle United to prepare themselves for their Premier League clash.

Eagles boss Alan Pardew did not conduct his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of the game against his former team, with Millen replacing him in front of the media.

Millen conceded that the Magpies have altered their style of play since the departure of Pardew in January, but believes that they have good knowledge on several of Steve McClaren's men ahead of their showdown at Selhurst Park.

He told reporters: "We have Alan here, Yohan [Cabaye] was obviously there as a player. They all enjoyed it there, they were successful and enjoyed working with the players.

"Andy Woodman [goalkeeping coach] left at the start of the season so we know a lot about their players. We have an insight into their individuals but we don't know what team they will play."

Palace are 10th in the Premier League ahead of their clash against Newcastle.
