Half-Time Report: Under-strength Napoli lead Club Brugge

Napoli lead Club Brugge 1-0 at half time thanks to Vlad Chiriches's 41st-minute goal.

Vlad Chiriches's goal four minutes before the interval has handed Napoli a 1-0 lead over Club Brugge at half time in their Europa League tie this evening.

David Lopez came close to giving the Italian side the advantage after 12 minutes, but his shot flew just wide of the upright.

Jose Callejon then blasted a free kick into the wall from 25 yards before Mirko Valdifiori was denied by Sebastien Bruzzese's sprawling save.

Just as the half seemed to be petering out, Chiriches connected with a cross and slammed it into the roof of the net to keep Napoli's hopes of maintaining their 100% record alive.
