Roma are reportedly lining up a loan offer for Chelsea centre-forward Olivier Giroud.
The 34-year-old's existing deal at Stamford Bridge is due to expire this summer, but he has enjoyed a relatively successful 2020-21 campaign, scoring nine times in 18 appearances for the Blues.
Giroud was also named in the starting XI for Thomas Tuchel's first match in charge of the capital giants against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
However, according to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are hoping to sign the France international on loan for the remainder of the 2020-21 season as they seek a replacement for Edin Dzeko.
Giroud has managed just three Premier League goals this season, but he struck five times in four outings in the group stages of the Champions League.
The Frenchman has also previously been linked with Roma's domestic rivals Inter Milan.
