Report: Leicester City want Oriol Romeu

A report claims that Leicester City want to sign Spanish midfielder Oriol Romeu on loan from Chelsea.

Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing Oriol Romeu on loan from Chelsea this summer.

The 23-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge from Barcelona in 2011 and made 33 appearances for the Premier League club over the course of two seasons.

The Spaniard has spent the last two campaigns out on loan, however, and it is understood that he does not figure in Jose Mourinho's plans for the new campaign.

According to the Daily Mail, Leicester have identified the midfielder as a target for the 2015-16 season and will make an official move next week.

Romeu spent last season on loan in the Bundesliga with Stuttgart.
