Jose Mourinho: 'I'm prepared to sell Filipe Luis'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho reveals that he is prepared to sell Filipe Luis, with Atletico Madrid closing in on a deal for the left-back.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that he is willing to listen to offers for left-back Filipe Luis.

The Brazilian was signed from Atletico Madrid last summer for around £15m, but struggled to break into the side, with Cesar Azpilicueta preferred by Mourinho.

Luis has been linked with a return to Los Rojiblancos, and Mourinho is willing to sanction the deal.

He told the club's official TV station: "If [Atletico Madrid] want him back then they have to pay and we have to discuss the offer.

"[If he leaves] then we have to react and we have to go in the market [and find a replacement]."

The Blues are hosted by New York Red Bulls on Thursday and begin their defence of the Premier League title against Swansea City next month.
