Report: Barcelona join Robert Lewandowski race

A report claims that Barcelona have joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.

Barcelona have reportedly joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.

The 25-year-old, who will be out of contract at the end of the season, has been the subject of interest from Bayern Munich and Chelsea.

However, according to Marca, Barcelona are preparing to offer the Polish international a contract at the start of January.

Lewandowski, who is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in European football, has scored 88 times in 156 matches since joining Dortmund from Lech Pozman in 2010.
