Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has reportedly emerged as a January transfer target for Crystal Palace.
The 29-year-old has only made three appearances for the Blues during the 2020-21 campaign and has not even made the squad for a Premier League match since the end of September.
Inter Milan have been linked with the out-of-favour left-back ahead of the January transfer window, but according to the Daily Mail, Palace are also weighing up a mid-season move.
The report claims that the Eagles view the Spaniard as a possible replacement for Patrick van Aanholt, who could leave Selhurst Park on a free transfer next summer.
Roy Hodgson's side are allegedly hopeful of keeping Van Aanholt but are preparing for the Dutchman's exit, with Alonso being identified as a possible acquisition.
The former Real Madrid youngster has made 152 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions.
