Full-back Ashley Cole has agreed a one-year contract extension with Chelsea.
The 32-year-old's previous deal had been due to expire in the summer and he had been tipped to leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer.
His services had been linked with a host of clubs, including Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
However, the former Arsenal defender has moved to end that speculation by committing his future to the European champions for another 12 months.
Cole joined the Blues from the Gunners in 2006.
