Chelsea will attempt to sign Napoli's Edinson Cavani or Porto striker Hulk in the next week, according to reports.

Chelsea have reportedly prepared a £35m bid for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani and will move for the Uruguayan later this week.

Di Matteo is concerned by his lack of options in attack and believes that Cavani would be the perfect addition to his squad, according to The Sun.

However, if Chelsea fail to sign Cavani, the club will revive their interest in Porto forward Hulk.

The Brazil international has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for most of the summer but Di Matteo is believed to prefer Cavani.

Hulk is expected to cost Chelsea £45m if the Champions League winners switch their attentions to the 26-year-old.
