Chelsea are reportedly considering a swoop for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke as they continue to search for a new striker.
The West London outfit have been linked with a big-money move for Napoli frontman Edinson Cavani, as well as Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski.
With those pursuits thought to be thwarted, Goal.com reports that Blues manager Jose Mourinho wants the club to prepare a bid for Benteke.
The Belgian striker has also been linked with Chelsea's Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
