Chelsea and Liverpool have reportedly been informed that Sassuolo would want a fee of €40m (£34.3m) to sell Domenico Berardi during this summer's transfer window.
The 26-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign at club level, scoring 17 goals and registering eight assists in 30 Serie A appearances.
The attacker also played a key role in Italy's Euro 2020 success, featuring in six of their seven matches at the competition, including the final against England at Wembley on July 11.
Chelsea and Liverpool have both been linked with Berardi, who is said to be keen to seek pastures new during the current market.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Sassuolo would be prepared to sell the Italian this summer if they received an offer of €40m (£34.3m).
Borussia Dortmund are also believed to be considering a swoop for Berardi, who still has three years left to run on his contract with Alessio Dionisi's side.
