Chelsea are keen on signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to a report.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The 17-year-old starred for Birmingham City in the Championship and was linked with a number of clubs, including Manchester United and Manchester City, before joining Dortmund last July.

The England international has been in impressive form for BVB during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring three times and providing four assists in 39 appearances in all competitions.

Bellingham was on the scoresheet against Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, and he has been an important player for his German club throughout the campaign.

According to Eurosport, Dortmund are of the opinion that Bellingham will soon be worth in the region of £100m due to his progress this term.

The report claims that Chelsea 'are the club most interested' in the teenager at this stage, with the Blues viewing him as a better buy than West Ham United's Declan Rice.

Bellingham, who scored four times and registered three assists in 44 appearances for Birmingham before seeking pastures new, has a contract at Signal Iduna Park until June 2023.
