Chelsea have reportedly decided to offer striker Diego Costa a new contract in an attempt to secure his long-term future at the club.
During the summer, Costa was tipped to make a return to Atletico Madrid after a poor second campaign at Stamford Bridge but the arrival of Antonio Conte has instigated a change in fortunes for the Spanish international.
Costa's 13 goals in the Premier League this season have helped the Blues to top spot in the table and according to The Mirror, the club are ready to offer the in-form forward improved terms in West London.
It has been claimed that Costa will be given the chance to sign a deal until 2021 - a two-year extension to his current contract - while he would receive an increase in wages which would take him up to £200,000 per week.
Costa has scored 49 goals from 97 appearances for Chelsea since signing for the club in 2014.
