Chelsea are reportedly lining up a move for AS Monaco full-back Djibril Sidibe.
The Premier League champions have hit a wall in their pursuit of Juventus defender Alex Sandro, with the Italian giants insisting that the Brazilian will not be allowed to leave Turin in this summer's transfer window.
Chelsea have already raided Monaco for France midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer, and according to TransferMarketWeb, Blues boss Antonio Conte is now considering a move for versatile full-back Sidibe.
The 25-year-old scored three times in 47 appearances last season as Monaco landed the Ligue 1 title, in addition to reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Sidibe, who has also previously been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, is contracted to his principality club until the summer of 2022.
Club captain Gary Cahill recently admitted that he was worried about the size of the Chelsea squad entering the new campaign, with a number of players being allowed to seek pastures new since the end of last season.
