Barcelona are reportedly in discussions with Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta over a move to Camp Nou.
The Spain international's contract with the Blues is due to expire at the end of June, and Barcelona have been strongly linked with the 32-year-old's services in recent weeks.
As it stands, Azpilicueta is free to hold contract discussions with foreign clubs, and according to Spanish journalist Jose Alvarez, the Spaniard is in talks with the Catalan giants over a move to Camp Nou.
Alvarez claims that Xavi's side have offered a contract until June 2024, with Chelsea waiting to learn whether the Spaniard intends to pen a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
Azpilicueta has again been an important player for the Blues during the 2021-22 campaign, making 27 appearances in all competitions, contributing three assists in the process.
Barcelona are also believed to be interested in signing Azpilicueta's teammate Andreas Christensen, with the Denmark international's contract at Stamford Bridge set to expire at the end of the season.
