Vinnie Jones thinks that Chelsea should "clear the decks" starting with skipper John Terry.

Former Chelsea player Vinnie Jones thinks that Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas needs to ship out club captain John Terry in order to regain control of the team.

Villas-Boas has come under pressure after his side's 2-1 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, but the ex-Wimbledon star believes that the problem lies with the players as opposed to the manager.

"I wouldn't be surprised if JT moves on," The Express quotes Jones as saying. "Sometimes, you've got to clear the decks.

"You think, 'How can you leave someone like JT out?' But sometimes your big, high-profile players go and other players come in and, all of a sudden, the coach is in charge again."

Chelsea will attempt to add to their victories in Europe with a Champions League clash against Bayer Leverkusen tomorrow.
