Demba Ba: 'Chelsea not good enough against Norwich City'

Demba Ba admits that Chelsea fell well below their usual standard during Sunday's 0-0 draw at home to Norwich City.

Demba Ba has admitted that Chelsea were not good enough during Sunday's goalless draw at home to Norwich City.

The Blues saw their Premier League title hopes suffer a serious blow as they failed to break down the Canaries at Stamford Bridge.

"It was our last match of the season at home, we wanted to give pleasure to our fans but unfortunately we couldn't do that," the striker told the club's official website.

"It was not exceptional. Sometimes you play a match without the necessary quality and it was one of those days. We were nearly there, but nearly is not sufficient."

Chelsea finish their campaign on Sunday when they make the trip to Cardiff City.
