Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun has insisted that he felt "sharp" during a rare start for the club against Rubin Kazan in the Europa League.
Benayoun made just his ninth Chelsea appearance this season when he featured in his side's 3-1 victory over their Russian opponents, and the Israeli international has admitted that it is easy to adapt to the style of play if the Blues are playing well.
The 32-year-old told the club's official website: "It's not easy, there are a lot of good players here but I felt good.
"I felt sharp from the first minute, I was involved in the game and that gives you confidence.
"When the team plays well it's easier, you get involved and try more things, so it was good for me."
The former West Ham United player is expected to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
