John Terry says that the suspended players still have a big part to play in training ahead of this Saturday's Champions League final.

Chelsea captain John Terry believes that there is still a big part to play for those players who will miss the Champions League final through suspension.

The 31-year-old, who is one of those suspended, said that he will be as competitive as ever in training to make sure that the team will be well prepared for their clash with Bayern Munich this Saturday.

Terry also stressed how important the Blues' 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers was heading into Saturday's final.

"We are going into a huge week and finally we can start concentrating on Munich," said Terry. "Robbie has rested players, hopefully everyone is fit and those of us who are suspended will still have a big part to play in training and preparation.

"It's always nice to end the season with a win - now we can go into the Champions League final with a bit of momentum and our winning mentality is back, so we did what we had to do against Blackburn."

Terry will be joined on the sidelines by Branislav Ivanovic, Ramires and Raul Meireles.
