Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri has said that his side should be proud of themselves despite their 5-4 aggregate defeat to Chelsea.
The Italian outfit, who took a 3-1 advantage into the second leg, fell two goals behind at Stamford Bridge before Frank Lampard responded to Gokhan Inler's second-half strike and took the game to extra time.
"From the first whistle it was a difficult match," Mazzarri told Sky Sport Italia.
"We were naive on set-piece situations. We also could have scored some more goals. We lacked the experience to control a game like this and put it to bed.
"We regret not going through, but we are satisfied with that we did. We must grow from this experience. Napoli should be proud tonight."
Meanwhile, Mazzarri's side are two points adrift of Lazio in fourth place in Serie A.
