The home side were ahead after just three minutes as John Terry failed to clear the ball from a Zlatan Ibrahimovic delivery, setting up Ezequiel Lavezzi for a powerful volley into the roof of the net.
David Luiz tried to level for Chelsea with a long-range effort just short of 20 minutes into the match, but he could not get enough power behind the ball, allowing Salvatore Sirigu a comfortable save.
However, the visitors were gifted the chance to equalise shortly after when Oscar was brought down by Thiago Silva in the box, allowing Edin Hazard to slot the ball in from the penalty spot.

Lavezzi came close to claiming his second after picking up a ball initially intended for Edinson Cavani, but Petr Cech just held the strike.
Hazard almost put Chelsea ahead shortly before the break, but his shot came back off the post. PSG appealed for a penalty in the final couple of minutes when Cavani tumbled in the box, but the referee turned down their shouts.
