Half-Time Report: Early goals give Celtic comfortable lead

Celtic lead Inverness Caledonian Thistle at half time courtesy of Mikail Lustig and Leigh Griffiths.

Early goals from Mikael Lustig and Leigh Griffiths have given Celtic a 2-0 lead over Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Celtic Park.

Lustig headed into the back of the net from Stefan Johansen's free kick after just eight minutes.

Four minutes later, Griffiths doubled the lead from close range.

Liam Polworth and Iain Vigurs both had chances to pull a goal back, before Griffiths was twice denied before the half-time whistle.

Andrea Mbuyi-Mutombo's long-range shot was saved by Craig Gordon in first-half stoppage time.
