Carlisle United have announced their second loan signing of the day, adding James Pearson from Leicester City until the end of the season.
Pearson's arrival comes soon after Reece Brown joined the Cumbrians in a one-month move from Watford.
Pearson, 21, is the son of Leicester manager Nigel Pearson, and Carlisle boss Graham Kavanagh said that he is expecting similar traits to his father.
"I played with Nigel at Middlesbrough. I know what he is all about as a man, and as a player, and I'm sure the apple hasn't fallen too far from the tree," Kavanagh told Carlisle's website.
"I'm hoping James will go on to have the same career his dad had and that this will be the start of it. We're looking to give him a leg up and help him out and that he will come in and do us a good job."
It has been a busy couple of days at Brunton Park after the Cumbrians also extended the loans of Danny Redmond and Jordan Pickford from Wigan Athletic and Sunderland respectively.
