Kevin McNaughton has reportedly agreed a new contract with Cardiff City.
With his previous deal due to expire in the summer and Malky Mackay having sanctioned a loan switch to Bolton Wanderers in September, it appeared that the 31-year-old would leave the Cardiff City Stadium on a free transfer.
However, the full-back has since returned to the Bluebirds and has made five appearances under the management of Mackay's replacement Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
McNaughton's form has impressed the Norwegian, who has convinced the defender to extend his stay with the Welsh club, according to Sky Sports News.
The Scotland international joined Cardiff from Aberdeen in 2006.
