Cardiff City announce that striker Rob Earnshaw will return to the club after a loan spell with Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Cardiff City have announced that they have recalled Rob Earnshaw from his loan spell at Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The 31-year-old had been scheduled to remain in Israel for the remainder of the season but the Championship club have revealed that the forward is due back in Wales in the next few days.

A statement on the club's website read: "Robert Earnshaw is heading back to the club in the next few days following his loan with Maccabi Tel Aviv FC."

Earnshaw scored three goals for Cardiff last year before he was loaned out to Maccabi during the summer.
