John Coleman keen on Bury job

Former Rochdale boss John Coleman reveals that he is interested in the managerial vacancy at League Two club Bury.

Former Rochdale boss John Coleman has revealed that he is keen on the managerial vacancy at League Two club Bury.

The Shakers are currently without a manager following the sacking of Kevin Blackwell on Monday.

Blackwell, who took charge in December 2012, guided Bury to just two wins from their opening 11 matches of the season.

"I'll go on like everybody else and try my best to get the job," Coleman told BBC Sport.

"I know League Two like the back of my hand, I've managed a lot of games in League Two and had a bit of success fighting at both ends."

Coleman has been out of work since leaving Rochdale in January.
