Bury manager Kevin Blackwell has admitted that he is happy at how his summer signings have improved his squad.
At the start of pre-season, Bury had only four players and that forced Blackwell into the market.
He managed to sign 22 new players, however, and has praised his summer recruits.
"Less than two months ago I couldn't have put a five-a-side team out never mind taking 15 coaches to Norwich," he is quoted as saying on Sky Sports News.
"It's been hard going but I think we've made some really good signings. I'm pleased with the attitude and I'm pleased with what we've seen so far and I think the fans are as well."
Bury travel to Norwich City in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.
