Burton Albion have signed goalkeeper Rob Lainton from Bury on a one-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old, who has made six appearances for the Shakers since joining last summer, is eligible for the Brewers' match against Morecambe today.
"I am delighted about the move," the former Bolton Wanderers stopper told the club's official website. "This is a club that are challenging at the top of the table so it is great to come here and try and be involved.
"Obviously Dean [Lynass] has been doing really well in recent weeks and it is up to me to push him as much as possible to get that starting spot."
Albion are currently seventh in the League Two table, eight points clear of Newport County who are directly below them.
