Burnley will have to make do without the services of defender Ben Mee for around six weeks.
The 23-year-old was stretchered off during Sunday's 1-1 draw with local rivals Blackburn Rovers at Turf Moor and scans have since revealed that he has damaged his medial ligament in his knee.
"Managed to tear my medial ligament in my knee midway through the game on Sunday, looking like a four to six week job. Gutted," he wrote on Twitter.
Mee joined the Clarets on a permanent basis from Manchester City in January of this year.
