Brentford manager Mark Warburton has insisted that striker Andre Gray's place in the team is not under threat.
The Championship club were linked with a move for West Ham United striker Carlton Cole, but Warburton believes that there is no need to replace Gray.
"Andre has done great and has come on leaps and bounds. He's hungry and I'm delighted with him," he told Get West London.
"He's a real force and is getting better and better, so why would I be looking to change Andre?
"What we need is to have options. We place a lot of demands on Andre and he has done an outstanding job."
Brentford, currently third in the league, signed Everton youngster Chris Long on loan last week, as backup to Gray.
Andre Gray has scored 11 goals in 26 appearances for the Bees this season, while Carlton Cole has scored three goals in 12 appearances for West Ham.
