Bosnia-Herzegovina goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has suggested that the Republic of Ireland were tough opponents in the first leg of their Euro 2016 qualification playoff this evening.
Visitors Ireland netted the opener late on through Robbie Brady, only for Edin Dzeko to find the equaliser three minutes later, and Chelsea keeper Begovic believes that his side are capable of progressing in the second leg.
"[It was a] difficult night," Begovic told Sky Sports News after the game. "Ireland were a tough team to break down, we couldn't get the ball down and play the way we wanted to, so it was difficult.
"It's all to play for. Obviously we need to score a goal which is important, but there's still 90 minutes to play and we fancy ourselves against anyone.
"We'll give it a good go in Dublin and see where it takes us."
Bosnia-Herzegovina will face the Republic of Ireland in Dublin for the second leg on Monday evening.
