Preview: Borussia Dortmund vs. Borussia Monchengladbach

Sports Mole previews the Bundesliga fixture between Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Monchengladbach.

Jurgen Klopp will hoping that his Borussia Dortmund side can convert their European form to domestic action when they host Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday afternoon.

Dortmund have dominated a Champions League group involving Arsenal, Anderlecht and Galatasaray but it has been a different story in the Bundesliga after six defeats in seven matches.

It's a run that has left Dortmund second from bottom but Klopp would have been encouraged with their performance away at Bayern Munich last weekend.

Klopp is likely to retain the same team that beat Galatasaray on Tuesday evening, although striker Ciro Immobile is pushing for a recall.

Monchengladbach continue to defy the odds by stretching their undefeated run to 16 matches since the start of the season.

Lucien Favre has effectively managed his squad over three competitions, and while they sit four points off the pace in the league, they are showing no signs of weakening after winning their last three games.

Striker Max Kruse is a doubt for the game at Westfalenstadion after sitting out of the Europa League on Thursday because of a thigh problem.

If he fails to regain full fitness, he could be replaced by Branimir Hrgota.
